Agreement
These terms apply when you create an account, install the Brainmox desktop app, or use any Brainmox service provided by CloudAid Inc. ("CloudAid", "we", "our"). By using the service you agree to these terms.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the account details you provide and for keeping your credentials secure. One account per customer during private beta. Notify us promptly at hello@brainmox.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
Acceptable use
Don't use Brainmox to break the law, infringe someone else's rights, send spam, attack other systems, or generate content that is illegal where you live. Don't probe, scan, or attempt to bypass rate limits, quotas, or security controls. Don't reverse-engineer the service or resell it without our written permission.
Your content and data
You own your content. You grant CloudAid a limited license to process it strictly to run the service you've asked for (for example, routing a prompt to your chosen model provider). We will not use your content to train shared models and will not sell it.
Model providers
Language-model providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Groq, and others) are independent third parties. Their outputs can be inaccurate, biased, or offensive. Review them before acting. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on model output.
Payments and subscriptions
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time. Monthly plans run to the end of the billing period. Annual plans are refundable pro-rated within the first 30 days. Taxes are added where required by law. All prices are in USD unless noted.
Service changes
We ship updates regularly. During private beta, features, limits, and prices may change. We'll give existing customers reasonable notice of material changes.
Beta
Brainmox is currently in private beta. The service is provided "as is". We don't guarantee uptime during beta, but we work hard on it, and we'll credit you for material outages caused by our systems.
Warranty disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind (express, implied, or statutory), including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CloudAid's total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data.
Termination
You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or create legal risk for us, typically after notice where practical.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Courts located in Toronto, Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction, except where your local consumer law requires otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If the change is material, we'll notify account holders at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the change means you accept it.
